Room
13 Dead Husbands,
by Sansculottes Artistic Director Tom Horan,
runs February 29 through March 30, 2008, at the DCA Storefront
Theater. Associate Artistic Director Dan Kerr-Hobert
(fresh from Mr. Fluxus with the Neo-Futurists) directs.
The production features original music by Steve Haggard,
as well as puppets and projections created by Bernie
McGovern, who with Dan recently designed puppets
for the Actors Theatre of Louisville production of Hedwig
and the Angry Inch.
Dan last directed for
Sansculottes in 2007, with Adam Simon's Fear of a Hood.
Sansculottes last produced Tom's work with 2005's Invisible
Bob. His writing will also appear onstage this year with
Collision Theatre Company.
The cast includes Brad
Smith, in his fourth show with Sansculottes, and Sarah
Goeden (Barrel of Monkeys) making her Sansculottes debut.
The show marks Sansculottes'
second production at the Storefront
(with Practical Anatomy, in 2006, Sansculottes became
the youngest company ever chosen for a Storefront production).
