Sansculottes
is now accepting headshots and resumes for Tom Horan's
13 Dead Husbands, to be directed by Dan Kerr-Hobert.
The production will be at the Storefront Theater, running from
February 29 to March 30, 2008.
We're seeking one extraordinarily
charming woman (20–30) and several men of diverse backgrounds.
Experience in physical theater, dance, or circus is a plus. In
lieu of a standard monologue, please prepare one of the following
pieces from the script, and come prepared for cold reads as well.

seem like the exception to the rule. We just don't have
the bandwidth to handle that. If you think e-mail is the only

actors, and we'll do everything we can to work you into the audition
schedule.

Few General Notes
Any time you
want to mail us an updated headshot and resume, let us
know about a show you're in, or just say hi, you're welcome to
do so! Use the address above.
One of the best
ways to introduce yourself to the company is to come
read at our annual festival of one-act plays, No
Pants, Just Shorts. We'll give you a 10-second monologue,
and it will be seen by all the company members as well as three
notable Chicago directors. (This, we feel, is the way to audition:
surrounded by friends, using very brief material that's guaranteed
to be unique, with beer involved.)
